First steps

So a few weeks back, A decided she wanted to (out of nowhere) take a few steps. Thankfully both Jamie and I were home to see it, so neither of us missed out. Since that day we have tried to get her to do it again, but no luck. She started doing this lunge type of move, but no actual steps.

Well today I decided I wanted to try to get pictures of her standing, since this is also a new thing, but happens more often. I make sure she's happy and stand her up in the living room, instantly she sits down. Not even enough time for me to get the camera. Ugh. I just want one cute picture to capture this milestone. So, I try again. This time I have my camera ready and as close to me as possible. I set her down, reach for my camera, and snap away. To my amazement, she keeps standing there (I actually got a few really cute pictures). Then, all of a sudden, she starts taking steps. Four to be exact!! I got at least three of them on camera. I'm so excited, what a special treat she gave me. My only regret is that I didn't have video rolling, but in my defense, I wasn't expecting her to do anything but sit down, and who wants to see that on video, ha ha.
