Blog slacker

Wow! I can't believe it's been almost two weeks since I last posted. So much has been going on around here, I haven't had much time to think. I do, however, have a few ideas for blog posts but I just haven't been able to sit down and write them.

So a super quick recap of my past few weeks...

About a month ago I started "working" again. I quote that because I'm now a nanny for my sister. I can't really consider it work because all I do during the day is play with two of the cutest babies ever!! When I first started it was just a few short hours a day, but it has recently increased to one or more longish days with short days in between. I'm not complaining though. Before this I barely got out of the house. Now I'm away from home four days a week. A loves it, too. She has opened up so much since spending her days with her cousin. It's the cutest thing ever watching the two of them play.

I'm also neck deep in party plans. The big day is less than two weeks away and I don't feel like I'm anywhere close to being ready. Oh well, it's going to be a wonderful day no matter what. You see, this is why I start to plan my kid's parties so early. People think I'm crazy, but I know how fast my life can change and something new comes up. Also, I'm a detailed planner. I have to have everything laid out and planned ahead of time. I hate last minute stuff (I guess I need to follow that rule better for my blog, ha ha).

So really, that's about it. Nothing too over the top, just enough to make me want to go crazy most days. I'll be back tomorrow (I promise) with a really cool update about J and also a not so good one. Until then, good night.
