Random Blah

So, I've been trying to come up with post ideas so I'm not away for very long without posting something, but I just can't seem to come up with anything. I notice that if a post involes pictures, it usually takes me forever to post it. Not sure why, most of my pictures are on the computer. I guess it's because Blogger is such a pain in the butt when it comes to posting pictures just the way I want them. I've had to become very familar with the HTML format of this blog just to post my pictures from Christmas.

As of lately I've been focusing most of my attention on coupons (as mentioned here). I've been able to score some pretty good deals which I hope to brag about some more soon, once I have my loot. I did do a trip already this week, and plan to go back out tomorrow for more. It's slowly becoming an addiction to find a good deal.

I've been slacking on posting my photos for the Photo 366 Project, but I am taking them. They're all on my computer, just waiting to be edited and then I'll have them up. I'm enjoying looking through all of the photos and being able to remember each day like it was yesterday. I can definately see me taking that away from this project, many special memories with my family.

Also, I'm starting a new project tomorrow. I will finally have an office! I'm so excited. I found this blog while searching Pinterest one day and fell in love with her closet office. So last month I decided to clear out Jamie's closet (we have a his and hers) and move all of his stuff into mine. This then motivated me to go through all of my clothes and get rid of the items I know I haven't worn in months, if not years. Ahh, for little accomplishments. So look forward to seeing some photos as things come along.

A quick minute

So I hopped on here for just a quick minute to write about little Miss. She hasn't been feeling well for the past few days (which is why I haven't been able to do my huge Christmas recap) so I finally took her to the doctor this morning. Thankfully we were given an answer, an ear infection. Lucky for her, she's only had one before this (unlike her mommy) when she was just a few months old. So today we start her on antibiotics and pray that by tomorrow she'll start to feel normal again. The only positive in all of this is that I've gotten more cuddles than usual. So for now, it's off to bed for a much needed nap (while little Miss is taking hers). I'll be back on later today to update my photo for the day here.

366 Photo Challenge

So, I have decided to participate in the 366 (extra day for leap year) photo challenge. I'm hoping this will give me more reason to post here on the blog since I've been slacking lately with all of the holiday stuff that's been going on (I still promise an update soon).

The challenge is to take a picture of your subject every day for an entire year. My subject for 2012 is my children. Since I currently only have J half the time, he will only be in half of the pictures, but A will be present all 366 days. I see this as a great opportunity to take more photos of J. I've realized recently that he's not as photogenic as he used to be. So, hopefully, I can bring him out of his shell with this challenge.
