9 Months!

Yep, that's right! Baby girl is offically 9 months old today. Seriously, where has the time gone? I know people say that it goes by fast, but holy cow! I figured with her being my second that it may seem slower, but I think it's going by much faster. Maybe it's because she is learning so much, so fast now. Speaking of, I guess I should give the run down on what all little Miss is doing these days.

Physical skills:
- able to crawl forward without stopping
- able to pull herself up on anything that stands still (and some things that don't, like the dog)
- able to walk around her crib, but hasn't quite figured out how to use the couch
- able to finger feed herself, even little things like peas
Social skills:
- tries to feed others, even when you politely say "no thanks"
- loves sticking her tounge out if she sees you do it
- loves getting into things even though you tell her "no Ma'am" plenty of times
Language skills:
- tries to repeat what you're saying, often with success
- says "dada" "mama" and "bubba" we're working on "puppup"
- shouts loudly when she wants your attention
- babbles all day long, I think she's going to be more like daddy than mommy when it comes to social skills

However, she's been a little fussy butt for the most part today. I hope she's not coming down with another cold, or anything worse. I'm not sure any of us could handle that. Her last illness was so hard on her, she could barely sleep or eat, poor thing. I plan on taking her back to the Dr tomorrow just for a check up. I want to make sure what she had is gone and not coming back.
